PPBS Pairs Winner - April 2025

The weekend of 5th & 6th April 2025 saw our club pairs took place. Through the course of Saturday & into Sunday morning teams battled it out to try and book their place in the Sunday afternoon final.

The two  teams that earnt their places in the Finale were:

Veteran Laurie Keene with his crime in partner Jason Lawrence  taking on The Butcher Mark Chalker and Cool Hand Peter Harris.

Mark & Peter started off strongly but were nipped at by Laurie & Jason, keeping them in check. Those who were in attendance were treated to an extremely enthralling game of bowls. The tide started to turn toward Laurie and Jason with some great bowling and took the final out 25 shots to 13.

Congratulations to Laurie & Jason on a well deserved victory. Commiseration to Mark & Peter who played well all weekend.
